Tame-Power has organized its activity around power conversion and distribution, mainly present in the markets: E-Mobility, Aerospace, Marine and Gensets.

The architectures of electric or hybrid systems involve the resolution of recurring constraints, driven by the noble elements which constitute them (battery, fuel cell, traction chain, motor, etc.) considering certain requirements (cables, transfer or transport of energy ).

In power electronics, it is noted that often, only the noble parts are taken into account in the development of an architecture to the detriment of secondary elements, such as the power conversion function. However, if all the elements are not taken into account, system performance can be achieved to their detriment, causing loss of cable efficiency or average performance on the energy conversion function.  In short, the performance of a system can only be based on the characteristics of the noble components that constitute it.

The expert’s corner aims to address the issues linked to electric or hybrid architectures as well as the power conversion function.
